OVRL® has been in the aerial drone cinematography industry for over 10 years. Our techniques and technology keep us at the forefront of the industry. OVRL® holds a full REOC, and has many exemptions that allow us to access areas that may be restricted to other operators.
We have a crew of experienced filmmakers and directors who ensure we get the perfect shots for our clients. Our experienced pilots come from the Cinema and Broadcast industries, so you can be assured that integrating our crew with yours is seamless. We operate a large fleet of drones that suits most purposes. We have video downlink capabilities allowing directors, pilots, and remote camera operators to collaboratively work on getting the required shots.

Aerial Mapping and Surveying
Drones have allowed high-quality 3D mapping data to become much more accessible. This enables better management, faster and more informed decision making, and provides an accurate high-resolution archival record of every inch of your site.
Drones provide the ability to capture on-demand maps for a fraction of the cost of traditional approaches using manned aircraft, and at a much higher resolution than satellites. Unlike satellite data, we operate on an on-demand basis, and our drones fly quite low and so aren’t affected by cloud.
To ensure the success of your project and the investments made by shareholders, we take extra care to ensure the data we provide is accurate and detailed. The advanced technology we use allows us to create a 3D reconstruction of any environment, regardless of the terrain. We are able to provide surveys that are up to 3cm accurate with the use of ground control points if needed.
We provide our 2D and 3D maps utilising cloud-based applications – allowing any of our client’s stakeholders to access and share them remotely on demand.

Aerial Inspections
OVRL® specialises in aerial inspection using drone technology to help inspect and assess tall, remote, or otherwise inaccessible assets and infrastructure = as a substitute rope access or Elevated Work Platform inspections
Utilising drone imagery to inspect such assets is safe, fast, cost-efficient, and can often circumvent the need for isolation or shutdowns.
Carrying high-resolution industrial grade inspection cameras, our drones hover within close range of the asset, providing the best possible vantage point from any angle, capturing high-resolution images (allowing details such as broken tiles, plant serial numbers, or corrosion on individual bolts) or thermal imaging. Our live video feeds allow instantaneous review and on the fly direction by asset management staff.
We understand that the data we capture is only as useful as the way we transform and present it to you. We use specialist software solutions to deliver data in a variety of ways depending on our clients particular objectives including standalone high-resolution imagery, video, photogrammetry, 3D asset models/point clouds, or asset inspection reports. We can also integrate seamlessly with other professionals from surveyors and geotechnicians to trades – delivering data in a meaningful manner.
